Delete your Exam CAGO account

How deleting your account will work

1. On the website: sign in, then open Profile → Account Information → Delete account (or go straight to examcago.com/account/delete).
2. In the app: open Profile → Delete account.
3. If a payment is still waiting for review, wait until it has been reviewed, or cancel it on the deletion page. Deleting doesn’t cancel payments for you.
4. Confirm it’s you: enter your password, or sign in with Google again if you use Google sign-in.
5. Type DELETE and confirm. Your account will be deleted straight away, with no administrator approval, and you’ll see a confirmation once it’s done.

Can’t sign in?

• Forgot your password? Reset it using your registered Gmail address, then sign in and delete your account.
• Signed up with Google? Use “Continue with Google” on the sign-in page with the same Gmail account.
• Signing in is how we make sure only you can delete your account. If you still can’t sign in, contact us at contact@examcago.com from your registered Gmail address and we’ll help you get back into your account, so you can delete it yourself.

Before you delete

• Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone. You won’t be able to sign in with this account again.
• Unused Access Pass days are lost. They aren’t refunded or moved to another account.
• Payments waiting for review must be resolved first. Deleting doesn’t cancel them: wait until they are approved or rejected, or cancel them yourself on the deletion page. If you’ve already sent the money, wait for the review.
• Ambassador certificates are deleted and will no longer verify.
• No administrator approval is needed: once there’s nothing pending, your account is deleted as soon as you confirm.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile (name, Gmail address, phone, institution and other details)
• Your exam attempts, answers, scores and result history
• Your Access Passes, including any days you haven’t used yet
• Your Access Pass orders and their payment details: transaction IDs, sender phone numbers, amounts and notes (including orders from the earlier payment system)
• Your referral code, referral records and reward requests
• Your question reports, feedback, notification read status and the phone registrations used to send you notifications
• Your ambassador application, ambassador status and ambassador certificates

What can remain

• A fingerprint of each bKash, Nagad or Rocket transaction ID you submitted, kept so the same payment can’t be used twice. It is a keyed one-way code (HMAC) stored with only the payment provider, a key version and the day it was first seen. It holds no account, order, name, email, phone number or raw transaction ID. It is pseudonymous, not anonymous: someone holding our secret key and a matching provider statement could link it to that transaction. It is kept indefinitely, because no retention period has been set yet.
• bKash, Nagad and Rocket keep their own records of payments you made to us, under their own policies. Google keeps its own records if you signed in with Google.
• Copies may remain in our hosting provider’s encrypted backups until those backups expire. They are never used to restore a deleted account.
